Manfred Klepacz

Manfred Klepacz was born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1960. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany.

Klepacz started his career with BASF where he held various positions in technical, marketing and sales roles, largely within the Specialty Chemicals Division. He joined Basell (later LyondellBasell) in 2000, subsequently moving to the US to head the American polyethylene business. In 2010 Klepacz was appointed CEO of the Industrial Business of Al Rajhi Holding in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities included chemicals, downstream operations, machine building and food manufacturing with plants throughout the Middle East, Europe and the US. Thereafter Klepacz joined Intertek PLC. As member of the Executive Team, he had oversight of various global business divisions as well as several regions.

Manfred Klepacz is founder and CEO of Ubunthu Enablers Ltd. in Zambia. The organization supports start-ups and helps develop capacities in local communities.

During his career Klepacz has taken advanced management and leadership trainings at Harvard Business School / US, University of New South Wales / Australia, Business School of the University of Michigan / US and University of St. Gallen / CH.

Manfred Klepacz has been a member of Uzkimyosanoat JSC Supervisory Board since October 2024.
