A ceremony dedicated to the International Day for Tolerance, observed on November 16, was held in the capital, where a group of citizens received the “Religious Tolerance” badge. The awards were presented by the Committee on Religious Affairs to individuals who have made significant contributions to strengthening the spiritual environment, as well as interfaith and interethnic harmony in the country.
In line with the “Environmental Protection Concept of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the period up to 2030”, approved by Presidential Decree No. PF–5863 dated October 30, 2019, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change is studying the issue of Uzbekistan’s accession to the Minamata Convention on Mercury.
The purpose of the visit was to familiarize the delegation with the technopark’s infrastructure and production potential, as well as to present comprehensive financial solutions aimed at supporting companies with foreign investment.
Odil Temirov, Chairman of the Board of Uzkimyosanoat JSC, held negotiations with a delegation of one of China’s largest energy companies — China Coal Resources Development Group — led by its Chairman, Liu Goshen.
A training seminar titled “Negative Consequences of Conflict of Interest and Effective Measures to Prevent It” was held at Uzkimyosanoat JSC, organized by the company’s Anti-Corruption Department.
